Attention got, Mana bounces in place in silent excitement.
“It’s been so long!”
Allen hurried over to the bouncing man, laughing a little. “how have you been?”

Soon enough, a light laughter bounced through the room, a sound much more real than most of the similar noises he emitted throughout the day.
“You say that you’re not, but you’re doing just fine~ Taking time to stay here shows how much you care. And I want you to know that listening is just as, if not more, comforting than talking~”
His bottom lip began to quiver as he hugged his friend back.

Hearing Mana laugh did make everything a little better. It made him feel less of an idiot. “Well… I don’t… I mean… I’ve never really… so…” What he said made no sense. He was probably confusing his friend. “I feel pretty useless…” He sighed.
“I don’t mind if you’re being a crybaby. Honestly I think it’s better than not crying at all.” Like he himself. He never cried. Hadn’t done in years. Refused to let himself. Compared to that Mana’s constant crying was much better.
“I wish I had references for times like these.. It would make the whole comforting thing easier…”
