If you are stumped one what this interesting mineral is, don’t fret, it is a very unusual and rare specimen. You may be familiar with the mined out mineral from South Africa that is commonly polished and grows with Chrysocolla, Malachite and Cuprite, called Shattuckite. Well this is the crystalline version! It has a fibrous formation and came from a very small pocket that is also mined out from Shaba, Zaire. From what we understood from the miners, one small pocket or vain was found, mined and no more remains. That is not to say another pocket could not be found in the future but as of now, specimens are quite limited. Shattuckite helps to reshape one’s reality. This can be extremely helpful during times of change and growth.
