Jackson didn’t usually feel nervous before dates, but this tune he was. Maybe because Shawn had shown interest in him from the get go and he didn’t seem to think he was weird, so that was even better. He double checked the clock before shrugging on a navy blue suit jacket over his white, short-sleeved, buttoned shirt that was tucked in his denim pants, (because even though this was a date, it was still summer and Jackson liked dressing more casually in the summer), then grabbed his phone and wallet and left his apartment. He set the directions to Shawn’s apartment and pulled over in front of it when he arrived, sending Shawn a text to let him know he was there. They had a reservation for 7:30 so if traffic wasn’t extra hellish tonight, they’d make it there with ten minutes to spare.
“Hey.” Jackson smiled when Shawn got into his car and he leaned in to kiss his cheek. “You look hot... damn, I’m lucky!” He chuckled. “How was stalking me online? Did you have fun?”
