def spar buddies , i love faris being able to brawl and let him brawl with the best . also let him lose and his crew get defensive and shocked at the same time and faris sportfully wanting a rematch sometime . i cry okay . but i feel like this can be both or either . faris just likes the action , he lives for the adventure & people it can bring . he really has no true enemies he hates , he lives for the sport of fighting when its there & if civil moments happen then they do . regardless to whether he’s friends / acquaintances / or enemies with you . even in faris’s own world , he has no grudge with xdeath that i can recall . he’s very , if we die we die , if we live we live , and really only fights because he enjoys the adventure & thrill ( esp if there is something he can gain ) . in his ffvii verse , faris could not care less about shinra , turks , jenova , sephiroth , etc . if he’s an ally , great / if he’s your enemy , well that’s fine too LOL . is he gonna go out of his way to save the world with you ? only if it makes him look good & there is something in it for him .
