“Dude, careful!”
A foot nudges the moves the other guy’s away from the item it had nearly stepped on; a tiny toy helicopter, or so it appeared. Really, he’d just scrapped it together from bits and pieces he’d found (you wouldn’t believe the kinda things these people left in alleys), but he needed to do something with his constantly itching hands.
Greasy fingers picked it up and spun the flimsy looking wings, looking it over. It had actually gone pretty far this time for something made with scrap and pipecleaners, but he’d also had a knack for the building side of things. It had bent one faux blade from the crash landing it had had, but no matter. It had just been something to build, something to put together and tinker with.
“This is a delicate piece of machinery, you know? Helicopter del Pipecleaner. You could’ve crushed a masterpiece.”
