Steve Harrington Big Bang Submission!!!!
by the actual skin of my teeth, I got this in "complete" enough shape to submit on time to the Steve Harrington Big Bang. <3 I cannot thank my team and the mods enough for being patient with me. This project has been such a perfect escape for me this summer as I traveled back and forth to the hospital and home over and over (see pinned post on my page for more info)
Anyhow. The Big Bang baby fic is out and ready for your consumption on Ao3!! I'll post it chapter by chapter here in the next few days so those of you without accounts can still read :D
I am obsessed with what Jo created for me, way early on in the process, mind you. As soon as she told me she was thinking of a baseball card, I was obsessed.
I have taken part in big bangs and exchanges before, but I've always been hella weird and shy about it. Jo got in touch and her warm excitement was what really changed the game for me. We've been giggling over "Cape Cod Crab Crackers" all summer long.
Dame Zoom and I may have giggled less, but frankly that's what I needed from my beta. She took my story seriously and gave some truly transformational notes about the structure and direction of the story. I love a good constructive criticism, and Dame had so much helpful feedback that I have asked her to work with me on some "deleted scenes" from this universe. I'm super excited to spend more time with Rory, Steve, and the whole Party. I hope, once you get to know her, you are too.

Slowly, Rory pulled apart his walls. What starts as a mutually beneficial, casually exclusive, weirdly wildly normal falling together turns into something different. Before they know it there's a baby on the way. Well, okay, two babies.
Here's the story of how Steve and Rory managed to transition their lives from a hodgepodge of government secrets and battle strategies, to the simple things, like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...and maybe there's still a baseball bat.
