ngl it’s getting a bit irritating when i say something about looking into getting my kid treated for adhd and they’re always like “how do you feel about that?” 

i feel  like i want my kid to be able to follow directions without being told every 2 minutes what she should be doing.

i feel like i want my kid to stop being upset with herself because she can’t go on field trips because she tries but she can’t stay focused long enough to stay in her seat or stay on task.

i feel like i want my kid to be able to do everything she’s capable of doing but can’t because she forgets or is distracted. 

i feel like i don’t want her to struggle and be limited the same way i have been by my own brain.

i feel like if you wouldn’t ask how i feel about medicating my kid’s flu or broken arm, you shouldn’t ask how i feel about this.
