Eva Stratt is such an incredible character. She did environmental atrocities for the good of the species. She murdered her best friend because It Was The Only Way. She was grooming him the whole time as a replacement and he didn't even know it. Everything is her responsibility. Evey life lost is on her shoulders. She cannot win. Earth WILL lose over half of it's Human population and she mourns every one of those billions. She's like if Atlas had to deal with misogyny
SHE MAKES ME SO ILLL. she takes haunting the narrative to such an extreme like every inch of that ship and every piece of equipment inside and the entire story as a whole is only able to exist because of her. the guy who found the solution is hailed a hero on two different planets and the woman who made finding the solution possible is punished for it. which makes me feel very normal.
