So apparently there's supposed to be Reki's aunt in sk8, but they cut her out, and like she'd be soooo fantastic

I immediately was like ok, Reki would've had a cool gay aunt, who really loves his nephew 😌

I imagine he'd tell her about everything, she'd be the first one to know he has a crush on Langa, even before Reki knew, and she'd comfort him when he's sad, like ugh, there's so many options here!!

Being a Lilith fan (the DC/Titans character) is 50% ugh why don’t more people write her, appreciate her, love her, for she is awesome....and 50% I am so glad more people don’t write her, etc, etc, because they couldn’t handle her. 

Peak Lilith is like “lulz I’m in your brain crossing all kinds of ethical boundaries with my telepathy all willy nilly, but haha guess what, I am exempt from giving a shit on account of you hurt my friends so you can just die, scumbag. However, since I’m a hero and that’s supposedly a no no or whatever, I’m not going to just fry your brain. You’re welcome. Instead, here’s a vivid mental image of you going and fucking yourself in the most disturbing way I could imagine and my imagination is a SUPER fucked up place, let me tell you, haha. Anywho, I’m just gonna drop this off here in your brain and set it to play on an infinite loop for the rest of your life or until I take pity on you. Spoiler alert - I don’t do pity. Its so....tepid.”

(Granted, she’s not often written that way as overall the writers who use her don’t even bother to learn anything about her other than she’s a telepath. And so they’re just like oh, obviously that makes her an ideal therapist and guidance counselor type personality with both her teammates and her civilian life, y’know, a naturally wise, stoic, nurturing kind of....

Earlier version of Lilith interrupts, trying to hold back peals of laughter:

“I’m sorry. Did you just accuse me of being nurturing? LMAO. You’re adorable. Also fuck you, that’s a mortal insult to me and now we are enemies for all eternity. Bitch.”

Anyway, like I said, that’s not actually her characterization overall, if you average out all her appearances and how she’s most often written....but it is the take on her I will always hold close to my heart and treasure and the only way I know how to write her. Or care to, at least.)
