You know, I think it would be more fun if Lucky/Feral Connie was raised by Lore Accurate Fluffy.

Because without the ideas and notions of human thoughts or actions, we just have a feral gremlin child running amok confusing the Crystal Gems with her wild behavior because I'm pretty sure they've never come across a human that behaves like a corrupt gem.

Cue classic Steven and his optimistic perspective, pulling a Centi with Lucky and trying to teach her to be human, in a sort of "reader insert" sort of manner since Connie has no known human parents, and giving her up to some organization with this mindset likely wouldn't sit well with him.

Of course, dealing with a feral child that watched her only known family get attacked and poofed, it will be a challenge.

This is just a concept that cropped up; it would be a bit more interesting to work with.
