dear yukako, 

i’m going to start this out by saying you’re one of the most frustrating and stubborn people i’ve ever met. like, ever. sometimes just talking to you pisses me off, and i have no clue how you do it. you’ve got some kind of gift. 

but there are also moments where you don’t bother me at all, moments where i’m so goddamn impressed just watching you. you’re dedicated and talented. you let me vent about my problems, even if you’re not always actually listening. and the moments when koichi has shown up and your eyes completely lit up honestly made my heart skip a bit and made me feel a bit jealous. it was about then i realized —

— that i might be in love with you.

and i know you’ll never feel the same, so it’s fine. i knew that when i started this letter. you love koichi and there’s not much i can do about that. i still wanted to tell you, i guess. just like when you let me talk about what i’m feeling. you still don’t have to listen, but this’ll be here if you ever decide to.

i think i just need to be away from you for a bit. hopefully you don’t mind me hanging around a bit when i get back.
