NOOO, LITTLE PIN DESERVE A WELL-PAID JOB AND A HEALTCARE!!! 😿😿
she does 😔
Yesterday, I got back home after a month abroad with my family. Today, I have work at 4. And tonight, when I come home, there will be a piece missing. Today, I will leave the house for work at 3:47 pm, a little too warm because of my uniform. And I will come home at 10:13 pm. And there will be an empty dog crate. There will be no graying, brown and white boxer, snoring away, and startling slightly when I walk past. There will be no scratching at my bedroom door in the morning, to wake me a bit too early. There will be no more puppy-eyed-stares while I cook, or fuzzy heads resting on my lap while I eat dinner. Today, when I get home from work, my dog of 14 years will be gone, and there will be a hole left where she once was, and that hole, I don’t think, will ever be filled.
my girl is winding down.

"the fighting is the part i like most" 🙂
ayo. this is your daily reminder that Azula is not a lost cause. she can receive help and therapy, and she is not too broken to do so. she can 100% learn to develop healthy relationships before finding her own one day.
if you choose not to ship her with anyone because you believe she's too lost to do so while also ridiculing those who do ship her with other characters, then you're ignoring the fact that trauma does not define a person and people can grow beyond their trauma.
people with trauma can find love. people with trauma are not undeserving of love. shipping Azula with other characters after she's received treatment isn't a crime, and she's 100% capable of being in a healthy relationship after receiving the help that she needs.
Lot of avatar fan art lately from you. Y’know, it’s kind of a shame Azusa was made into a villain despite being a victim like zuko. Not saying it’s unrealistic, it just feels like victim blaming.
While I agree that there are double standards when coming to Azula and Zuko, I don't necessarily think her being a villain is victim blaming. In my eyes, it shows two sides to a coin- both Zuko and Azula are victims of their father, and of the nation they grew up in. They were raised as soldiers, indoctrinated into the fire nation's ideals.
Where Zuko and Azula split, in my opinion, is in their support systems. It's true Zuko never really had the approval of his father, while Azula did- but Zuko had better influences. His mother, for example, clearly favored Zuko. While it could be because firelord Ozai clearly liked Azula better, I think it was also because he was her first born son, her baby- boy-moms tend to be a different type. When Zuko misbehaves, like when he throws the bread at the turtleducks, his mother Ursa gently chastises him, explains to him why its wrong, and lovingly hugs him. When Azula acts up, like teasing Zuko, we see none of that warmth- Ursa scolds Azula, even going so far as to say "what is wrong with that child" as if YOU aren't the one raising her after Ursa disappeared, Zuko found a new support system- everyone's favorite Uncle Iroh. He was patient with Zuko, instilled good morals onto him and never gave up on him. It was clear he loved him unconditionally, even like a son. When he was making the wrong choices, Iroh was there to guide him back onto what he saw was the right path.
Azula had none of this. She had the approval of her father, but it was clear that was conditional. If Azula failed, she knew he would be harsh on her like he was on Zuko. It's also clear that Ursa wasn't as present for her as she was for Zuko. I bet Azula often acted out to get the attention of her mother, even if it was negative. Ursa goes as far as calling her a monster and is that any way to talk to a child, your own child? Sure, Azula seemed to have violent tendencies when she was younger, like pushing Ty Lee when she outdid Azula in gymnastics. But that doesn't automatically make someone a bad person. This is where a person's environment really comes into play. Azula's negative traits were never curved by anyone, and was only worsened by her father's expectations. Azula is a strong person and a wonderful character- she's fiercely loyal, she's strong, cunning, and I really think she would have a good redemption arc. She's capable of change- she's only fourteen. People give men in their thirties more leeway.
Azula was the villain, and she needed to be taken down, along with her father. But so was Zuko. Zuko was the main antagonist, the main villain (besides the fire nation) for the first book and second half of the second book. Without Iroh, I don't know if Zuko would have been as likely to change. Sure, he seemed to have more empathy than Azula, but that was very literally burnt out of him, and it was Iroh's teaching and guidance that helped Zuko to change. I think, given time and the right support system, Azula can absolutely change. I think the fandom is realizing that as well- Azula's not just a black and white villain, and she has a lot of nuance towards her. If Zuko deserved to be forgiven, than so does Azula. I think, if the circumstances were different, Azula could have absolutely turned out differently
