Black female characters can't ever seem to win. If they are snarky or more closed off like Aurora they get called a bitch, but even when they are more friendly they are described by fandom as "boring" like Sloane was or "annoying" & "forced" like Lily. I actually saw people relieved that she wasn't on the BB 2 cover and hoping that meant she would be written out or given less time in the book.

OMG I DEFINITELY THOUGHT LILY WOULD BE THE EXCEPTION AND WIN THE FANDOM SHE'S LITERALLY EVERYTHING WE LOVE!!! WE AS IN EVERYONE. SHE'S PERFECT!

I'm currently watching a movie with abigail breslin and the little girl lucy from the lion the witch and the wardrobe. According to the synopsis they murder their mother and have to cover it up. I'm super intrigued and so far it's weird because the lucy girl doesn't have a British accent.
