So basically ever weekend the beau and I eat at the local IHOP because we’re lazy and forget to eat until like 11:00 at night

and this adorable butchy server is there every time and tonight she gave us our meal (which would have been like $18) for like $9.00 because we’re, and I quote, “always cool and chill’

shoutout to last night when my mom and i went on a s’mores pop tart hunt at 9 pm all bc i was craving frozen s’mores pop tarts and we ended up buying A Bunch cuz they were 2 for $5 

her justification as to why we were allowed to go at 9 pm was ‘it’s summer we can do whatever we want’

Things to know about Bobbi Yoong:

1. Keoni Kahale was her best friend since high school, and when he and his wife died there was never a question about taking their son in to raise as her own.

2. She’s a trans lady, and right before Keoni and his wife died, she and Kim were discussing possible ways to go about having kids. She kind of hates that losing her best friend meant getting something she wanted, a chance to be a mother.

3. She met Kim in college. She thought he was the cutest nerd she’d ever seen. She maintains this to be true to this day.

4. She used to go diving with Keoni and Keahi. Kim and Mrs. Kahale (I haven’t named her yet, in case you’re wondering) used to go out for lunch together during their dives and talk affectionate shit about their fish-obsessed weirdos together.

5. She’s an artist and she’s always exploring new mediums and new forms of expression. She moved to Amity in order to study their marine life for her latest idea. It was meant to be temporary, though with how happy the place makes Keahi she and Kim decide for his sake to put off moving back to Hawaii until after he’s left the nest.

6. She supports Keahi and his interests and hobbies as much as possible, and takes on to support all his friends just as much. She remembers what it was like to be the kid who’s weird about this one thing, and wants Keahi and his friends to know it’s okay to be that person.

7. She likes gardening, and the first thing she did when they got settled at Amity was start a new one.
