With all of the chaos that has been happening over the last few weeks, Shea hasn’t had a chance to properly see Noah- Professor Sawyer. Oh, who was she kidding? He wasn’t just her professor, and both of them knew it. But what exactly was their relationship? It was something she thought about a lot. She hated to think she was his dirty little secret, but.. essentially that’s what she was. Which she had no control over. Why did she have to fall for a teacher? It sounded so foolish when she really thought about it. But she couldn’t deny her feelings. It was something she needed answers for, something she desperately needed to figure out. So she marched to his classroom when she knew it would be his last class of the day, leaning against the doorway as the students filed out. “Professor? May I speak with you?”

It didn’t take a genius to realize that Shea has it bad, has it so bad, she’s hot for teacher. And she hated herself for it. She’s always been the responsible one, the one who has her head on her shoulders and isn’t just some silly foolish girl chasing after some man who would definitely not give her the time of day. But here she was, practically doodling his name in hearts while he gave a lecture about a specific artist that she couldn’t have been bothered to remember.

But that was the thing, wasn’t it? He wasn’t just some man who wouldn’t give her the time of day. She wasn’t stupid. She saw the way he looked at her every now and then, she caught the glimmer in his eye, the smile on his lips. She wasn’t just imagining this, right?

Once the class was over, Shea stayed seated as her classmates began to gather their things and file out of the classroom. As the last few students left, Shea began to stand up, closing her book and approaching his desk.

“Professor Sawyer?” She said with a smile, placing her hands on his desk and giving him a challenging look, “I’ve decided on my terms.”

Tucking her hair behind her ear, Shea was just about finished getting ready for the day. She was slipping on her shoes next as she looked across the room to her roommate, Quinn. There was something about the girl that left Shea feeling like she was missing something. The girl was quiet, not ever wanting to really engage with Shea. And well, that just simply won’t do. Not on her watch. 

Smiling softly, she cleared her throat a bit and stood up, “Care to join me for breakfast, Quinn?” She gave the girl a hopeful expression, really milking it. They didn’t have any negative energy towards one another. In fact, Shea thought of Quinn as the best roommate. She just wanted to be friends with her as well. Was that too much to ask for?
