I’ve been doing small oil portraits (4” x 5”) and they are good fun and good practice and I love how these turned out.

Charcoal is my new happy place.
Vine charcoal on paper, 18x24”. Armand, my beloved.
The vampire Armand, the best/worst, youngest/oldest motherfucker of em all.
Made in Procreate with much love and hyperfocus.
And, the Connor half of the equation. I think I’m calling it done but I’m gonna sleep on it. This one might go on my wall if I can get the fixative to work. Vine charcoal is so delicate. It might be more of a sand painting…
I tried to be good but I should know better than to take the charcoal out an hour before bed. Behold, a WIP. From the GQ photo shoot.
A sketch with big brushes, done using Procreate.
Ilya Romanov from Heated Rivalry. I’m finally back to sketching!
I’m… not a cartoonist. Can you tell? But I do love this dynamic. 😂
