Welp I’ve been inspired yet again.

These are two of my old OC’s I created a few years ago, absolutely adore them. They were based in the SU fandom, but since I’m not really in it anymore, I decided to renovate their characters! Because the previous fandom was so in-depth with its own lore, I wanted to change up a lot of the setting and tone. Their previous incarnation was “sympathetic evil”, so I decided to change them to be more fun antiheros here.

In this new plot, Malachite and Sheak are both different species of alien in a universe akin to Star Wars, with different alien races living along side each other, albeit not as peacefully. Both have experienced war and their own planetary problems, but somehow found each other in the midst. With Sheak’s intelligence and Malachite’s eagerness to fight, they both decided to work together and essentially be Space Pirates. Wacky and insane hijinks ensue.

#The Space Race Duo #idk sounds like a fun name #i’ve always loved these two characters. and I really love what I did with them previously.#but it is somewhat hard to write evil characters without a good foil and or other plots #so I think having them be more sympathetic fun and antihero’s is A nice way to give them more room to grow #Plus malachite being actually nice is so funny to me #okay I’ll go to sleep now #sheak #malachite #ocs #art #my art #sketches

But I just wanted to THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the wonderful tumblr experience you’ve all given me so far!! 🥰 It’s really special to have a place where I can draw and post what I want, improve my art, and explore my own artistic endeavors. I’ve been drawing for a while now, and I’ve been involved in a multitude of fandoms and experiences that have shaped my art in ways I never could have imagined. And the same could be said with my time here :) ❤️❤️❤️
