Waking Up With Shiki

You awoke to a pair of arms not quite wrapped around you but more squeezing you close to death. You didn’t mind, it was your daily reminder of everything you had overcome in order to still be alive. Not only alive, but laying with the laziest and moodiest demon possibly in existence.
But that was perfect in your mind, your perfect little glasses sporting demon.
Almost as if he could hear your thoughts, you noticed a slight blush spread across your boyfriend’s face. He did attempt to hide it by seeking refuge in the crook of your neck but today was a sacred day. A day of wonder.
Your day off.
When a day as magical and wonderful as this one comes along, there is one thing you looked forward to. One act which would be inexcusable on any other day.
A lie in.
Unfortunately, a lie in does not include any strenuous activity… at least not before 11 am (apologies smut lovers… a follow up might be possible?). With your aim in mind, you struggled against the male next to you in fight of the freedom of your neck. Tickles were issued, threats promised and in conclusion, none of that mattered. Why? Because who could say no to the adorable Shiki?
Your neck left exposed, you waited for whatever cruel ministration or ‘humerous’ prank you would be subject to (like the time he decided to lick your neck all the way to your forehead. Ha ha ha). However, wait as you did, nothing seemed to happen. You would have revelled in that fact however a new thought emerged… where you not attractive to your man anymore? Did he not appreciate the situation at hand? Was he ill?
Your mind went in circles until you felt the silky locks leave your chin and instead move above you. The smooth skin of his well chiselled chin rested against your forehead whilst hi is strong arms reminded you of your place, next to him.
Slowly drifting back to your favourite land, you felt a soft peck bestowed upon your forehead along with the words, “Stupid, beautiful human” being uttered.
