More things heard on the radio and seen in stores

Yesterday I caught snippets of a commercial on the radio and these were the words I heard:

Placenta.... makes you look more youthful... placenta... for beautiful radiant face...

And that totally threw me off guard. Like, what the hell. Who wants to put placenta on their face?!

Anyway, today I was at a pharmacy and the product that greeted me at the door was a box which contained tablets for 'a more youthful appearance' which had essence of sheep placenta. What.

No wonder ladies in the olden days killed virgins and newborn babies and all that. They couldn't extract sheep placenta so they got it in other ways. Oh lawd.
