I've found it's hard not to kill your gay characters when all of your characters are gay and most of your characters die

This is a huge problem in TWLC x_x

Fair enough. I’ve also really got to contact my jobsearch people and rearrange my appointment with them, and figure out a new one to switch to.

Chris should be able to help with that second one though.

Same tbh, I draw solely to compliment my writing and started so I could have visuals for my characters. It took a long time for me to learn it and it’s not always easy to convince yourself when so many people say otherwise, but it’s fine to do nothing but character refs/portraits; it’s draw what you want and not what you feel you’re expected to draw

yeah that’s exactly why i draw too tbh it’s just for reference purposes to illustrate my writing. thank u for ur kind words too!

Yea like ... so many people ask me to (and I'm not bothered) but omg I don't think I could ever dare asking someone to look at my page if art wasn't already the topic we were discussing

I mean- I’d love the validation that my art is half decent, or even critique would be nice, but my anxiety does not want me to be asking people to look at my blog.

It just feels too much like I’m asking for like a shoutout or something and I don’t want to do that to anyone.

Mate, my mum would never believe I'm sharing pizza with a person who mist likely lives in the mainland.

It's my money anyway. It's just I get tired of her and my brother making fun of me for eating pizza once a week at most.

Same ;o; Like, sometimes I’ll watch a show I haven’t seen since I was a kid though and be like “oh my god THAT’S where that vague concept came from” or “Oh that’s why I like glowing rocks so much” and it’s wild because I didn’t realise it was influencing me and could never pinpoint it if asked.

that’s exactly it, too!! and if someone directly asks me “what artists have influenced your art style? :)” my only answer is pretty much “uh... TFA? but only when I intentionally copy that style, so???”

I mean not only do I just. definitely not have JUST ONE art style, or just one WRITING style, either... but my memory is also the shittiest and everything is a haze always

I’m probably just subconsciously influenced by literally everything I have ever seen in my life
