I haven't drawn my otp in years, so I was in a self indulgent mood to kickstart 2023

Hiva is one of my oldest OCs and she's a sweetheart. I made her with the intent of being Mu's complement, personality and design-wise and well, they just vibe on their own wavelength.

Here, aside of the fluff, and Mu's gratuitous bedroomsheepeyes™, the idea was depicting Hiva's trait of looking after him.

She's talking about the Sutra Chapter of Bodhisattva’s Hair, following tibetan astrology, "which reveals the consequences of cutting your hair on the wrong days – and the extraordinary benefits of cutting it on the correct day". She's wishing him good fortune and health but also... so respectfully flirting in such an old fashioned way... and he's so into it that HE IS FLIRTING BACK! Come on, they're adorable xD

Anyway, the sketch was made three years ago, with the color palette of 2013, so I wanted a bit of a throwback feel for their anniversary. I have a long story with these cuties xDDD

Sorry for the long rant. I've been having them on my mind for weeks nonstop now~
