Shade: Stromboli Suits medium-light tan or olive skin, approximately Mac NC30. Nars Sheer Glow is an incredibly popular high end foundation and right fully so. Pros: •Offers medium coverage in one layer which can be (very easily) built up to full. •Very wide shade selection. •Lightweight •Blendable •Matte/ Satin finish Cons: •Pricey for the amount supplied per bottle. •You have to purchase pump separately so packaging is inconvenient. •Glass bottle is prone to breaking if mishandled. My recommendations: •For a natural finish be sure to use your hands to blend the foundation in. •Moisturise and exfoliate thoroughly beforehand as dry patches are emphasised when using this foundation. •Photographs very well- even in flash photography. • Stippling on using a foundation brush gives fuller coverage on the first layer however there is also less blendability if applied in this manner. My thoughts: Sheer glow is a necessity if you want to look flawless on special occasions. Personally, it's a little heavy for every day wear for me but if applied with a light hand I could see it working for a pot of people. The NARS shade selection is a beautiful thing and every colour is gorgeous and rich so woc are unlikely to have problems selecting a shade. I have dry skin but despite the matte finish sheer glow looks beautiful if I moisturise thoroughly beforehand. Overall rating: 5/5
