Work Doodle: Coffee Monster Ghost

I’m a gross coffee munster and now a ghost! A sheetsona as @cattype would call it. I kinda liked the idea and doodled a Halloween avatar. Also it’s because I forgot my inking stuff at home. Now Back to Work!

Inktober #6 @nightmaresyrup ‘s Sheetsona

Having just finished Emizels’ sheetsona when Nightmaresyrup posted theirs, it seemed rude not to draw it too. Kinda wish I hadn’t.  I knew it’d be much trickier and I really don’t like how the hood turned out. I think I should’ve started over at a certain point. I probably should’ve left out the patch too. I fiddled with the colors in Photoshop just to salvage it. End result is pretty good.

And if you’re wondering, no, I am not going to draw every sheetsona sent to me... unless you’re paying me... or maybe buying me a gift on Line Play....

Sheetsona icon for Halloween 2017. I thought about changing it a bit but, meh, I’d rather be working on other stuff. Certainly looks better shrunk down than full size though.

Again, a sheetsona is a thing that I invented that is oneself as a sheet ghost. I’d love to see it catch on. Tag it and go weird with it.

I know I said I'd be following a yokai prompt list for #inktober but I ended up drawing my #sheetsona for today because I realized I didn't have a Halloween icon. Figured I'd be cheating here and there anyway since it is my first time. For those wondering a sheetsona is one's self as a sheet ghost. You're welcome to make one for yourself. Inktober #5 @emizels ‘s sheetsona

Emi was the first person to join me on the sheetsona train. (Which, if you haven’t been following me, is oneself as a sheet ghost.) Her design was so cute and I was so happy to see someone else make a sheetsona besides me that I had to dedicate one of my inktobers to it. <3 You can see her original design here.

I took a bit of liberty with the eyes though to match the half lid expression I usually draw her with. Unfortunately without the mouth she looks kinda sad. I wish I had done what I do with my sheetsona and made the top of the black part the brow and disappeared part of the white parts for lids. I know that sounds weird so here’s an old example.

Last minute Halloween icon scribbled in Adobe Sketch.

From what I’ve read, ghosts tend to repeat actions they commonly did in life. So my ghost would be constantly making tea and coffee. I don’t know if I’d be able to drink it but I’d make it.
