THE FACT THAT SHE WAS STROLLING into the raging party looking for a man that was supposed to be at home - infuriated her. to a point that her features were flushed red - painted with her irritation over what she was about to walk in on. lexie pushes through a crowd, up the stairs and looks around. she hadn't seen him downstairs, which meant he had to be here somewhere. one room. then another. until she pushed in and a girl screamed, " oh you've got to be freaking kidding me right now! " the girl scrambled off her boyfriend, stumbling to grab her clothes, " seriously! are you fucking serious, shane, i asked you for one god damn thing while i was trying to work! you've lost your mind! for fucks sake i've had it - i swear i have! " she growls at him when the girl stutters and rushes past her.

colin looked at the younger sharma, and felt an almost kinship with her. colin too had been humiliated by someone he intended to marry, someone he thought he had loved, who loved him. colin would always love his brother, and would not let anyone speak very ill of him, but he never understood why anthony had proposed to edwina, when it was so clear there was feeling for kate. he smiled ❝thanks, if you want to talk, i am here. i've been where you are, and i know how much it can hurt.❞ he paused ❝no one deserve that kind of pain❞

everyone was still riding off the successful uranium mission. while ryan wasn't a part of it directly, he was still given the opportunity to go on the carrier and watch it all unfold. maybe it was a benefit of being friends with cyclone, or maybe it was just luck. needless to say, he enjoyed being back in it, even if he was still considered a civilian, it brought him back to the early two-thousands before his accident. sure, you never fully leave the navy. he has friendships and memories that will last for the rest of his life. and the past month had given him even more. it was diffucult not to feel sentimental.

they were now back on land. and no surprise, the hard deck was the destination for many involved. a nice little soiree before most head home -- wherever that may be. Ryan had a flight back to Chicago in three days himself. just in time for the summer to end , meaning he had to get ready for the new school year. he had been mingling with some of the pilots, before his brown hues land on maverick. he takes a small drink of his old fashioned with bourbon and decides to join him. he had to admit, he had only heard stories of the other pilot, the good bad and exceptionally ugly. but you couldn't ignore the raw talent that man possessed. despite being in the navy at the same time at the start of the century, they were never on the same mission, so they had not met until this summer. 

  ❝ When I heard you were involved in this mission, I was surprised. but I'm glad you were. ❞ Ryan took a seat next to the pilot. The legacy of "Woodstock" is not even close to Maverick, but he does know that he still has a picture up on the wall at Top Gun since he did graduate top of his glass in 2000. Maybe a few achievements in his six years. However, none of that mattered anymore.  ❝ What's next for you? ❞

"I was talking about the plant?" Hanna gestured towards said fake plant. "You know this whole 'A' situation is your fault? The police? Being accused of killing you? So don't...Alison...just don't..." Hanna didn't really know how to feel about her once friend but she was angry with her for just disappearing like she did. For putting everyone in the positions she had.

░  “Robin…”  Marian  chewed  on  her  bottom  lip  and  placed  a  hand  on  top  of  his  in  response.  The  way  that  the  man  felt  did  matter  a  great  deal  to  her  —  more  so  than  most  —  so  she  was  relieved  that  there  would  be  no  arguments  about  her  actions.  She  did  what  she  did  out  of  necessity.  Nothing  more.  “No  need,  my  love.  Together  is  what  I  have  wanted  all  along.  The  Nightwatchman  is  no  more.”  Marian  lovingly  traced  his  face  with  her  hands.  “Do  you  have  a  camp  set  up?  I’d  like  to  go  with  you.”

                         ROAD TRIPS were certainly something the blonde wasn’t exactly fond of. More so because it meant staying still and not being able to be out in the wild like the wild child she was. But, she was with her finacee, in the car, on the way to some locations that the brunette had been raving about, it was good that they however were able to have a time. Together. Feeling a hand on her thigh, the blonde turned her head to the side, offering the brunette a faint smile before turning her attention back to the road “If you wanted to see me in the new swimsuit I bought, all you had to do WAS ASK.”

She had came to the Sanctum Sanctorum as a desire to connect with Stephen in a deeper manner. Not just with sex or with magic. But a glimpse into her life. Or at least what she wished of it. “I know sometimes the holidays can feel lonely. So if you want, you can come later to light the first candle. There’s gonna be latkes. And Pietro and Lorna fighting over sour cream or applesauce.”
