Sheléa is one of the most criminally overlooked vocalists/pianists of our time

She be sangin her ass off with ease. A student of Whitney and The Clark Sisters. A powerhouse voice that's only molded like that in the church. She's like Chanté Moore meets Tamia with a hint of Keke Wyatt (when she gets into her vocal acrobats).

I've always felt that had she came out under a solid backing in the early 2000s before the overflow of (mediocre) solo singers, the shift in R&B, and the nixing of artist development thereafter, she would be a household name today. Her vocal placement, warm, clear, & rich timbre, technique, range, and breath control are beyond divine. The woman has perfect pitch.
