Creative storage solutions
At the heart of my design philosophy lies bespoke cabinetry, a crucial element that consistently sets the tone throughout the interiors I create. My passion lies in maximising both aesthetic and practical potential, ensuring that every space not only looks stunning but also serves my clients' needs seamlessly. One of the most common challenges my clients face is the lack of adequate storage, and I take great pride in devising innovative solutions to address this issue.
Here is one of my projects in South Kensington, where I combined the elegance of minimalism with the cozy allure of Scandinavian style. When crafting wardrobes, I often incorporate open shelves, providing an opportunity to display personal items and infuse the space with character. This thoughtful touch adds dynamism to the wardrobe, elevating the overall ambiance.
In one of my Notting Hill projects, I designed a TV area with bespoke storage that cleverly hides media equipment and cables, while adding softness with creative open shelves on the side and introducing texture with rattan inlays.
Returning to the South Kensington Project, I utilised bespoke open shelves combined with drawers to create a striking focal point flanking the window, bringing balance to the room. The drawers discreetly store small items, while the shelves serve as a delightful display for personal items, striking a perfect harmony between functionality and aesthetics.
My advice is to approach storage creatively, envisioning it not just as a practical necessity but also as a unique focal point infused with personality. By doing so, your home can be both beautiful and functional, elevating the overall design to new heights.
What do you think, which one is your favourite?
