Queer-Eye (Happy Birthday, didi)

(For the rest of y'all, this is kind of like an inside joke, that the Fab Five would help us so much, so basically just read it like you're watching the first five minutes of an ep, if you do, and then scroll on after wishing my older sister a happy 21st birthday, please and thank you)
"Alright, boys, wanna see what we're doing this week?" Tan announced, clicking on his tablet to get to the Hero of the week. The rest of them chorused a yes, and Tan went on. "Her name is Manvi Mukherjee -"
They proceeded to hoot, until Tan shushed them. "No, no, it's Doctor Manvi Mukherjee!"
They cheered with renewed energy.
"Okay, I was kinda kidding, it's going to be Doctor Manvi Mukherjee, soon!" Tan grinned.
"I like her name," Bobby declared, from the back.
"Says here, it means 'human'." Tan replied. "In Hindi, that is. Whoa, so she's an Indian! Guys! Our hero for this week is hashtag brown kin!" Antoni laughed, and rolled his eyes.
"You've gotta stop doing that," He teased. "Hashtags are so 2018." Tan made a face at him, and Jonathan - who was driving - swerved suddenly, so Tan turned to the front with a jerk, breaking eye contact. He went on. "Plus, you need to stop sounding so surprised. Everyone can tell you're being overdramatic. We literally came to India for her, didn't we?"
"But they don't know that." Tan stage-whispered, and Antoni chuckled, almost in agreement.
"Tell us more!" Karamo urged.
"Well," He went on reading. "It's her birthday tomorrow - oohh, a Cancer, spicy and sweet - and she's turning 21 -"
"Yay for independency in all matters regarding alcohol!" Bobby grinned.
"And she's finishing her graduation, like, next year," Tan read out.
"That's like four fifths of a doctor already," Bobby inputted, with a grin. "And, hey, that's pretty close to becoming independent! For the first time, I presume?"
"No, she won't start practising yet, will pursue a post-graduation in Medicine, first." Tan read, with raised eyebrows, and an impressed smile. "What I gather from all that's written in the career section here, is that it's all quite sorted out!"
"How impressive," Bobby beamed.
"I love a young-adult who has their life figured out." Karamo remarked, not even kidding. "I know, that life can be tough, and uncertainties are everywhere when you're that age - but if you got your profession sorted, it just allows for a lot more flexibility and cushioning, for the rest of everything."
"Psst, Karamo," Jonathan giggled. "I know you're like really wise, and everything, but save it for later. I wanna hear more about her!"
"Well," Tan obliged. "Says here, that her sister, Sheya, was the one who put in the request. They've both watched, and rewatched most of the show together -"
"- and this is gonna be like a birthday present for her!"
"Ooh, cool!" Antoni grinned. "I'm really looking forward to this week!"
"Me too," Tan turned, and smiled. "It's going to be terrific!"
*Cue camera switching to Karamo*
After having gotten to know about her, my plan for her, is to teach her to be more herself, with herself! I want to focus on the aspects of her life, that she's not been thinking about, and I do really want to know more about the Sarvagya guy mentioned in her sister's video, and actually get to know if they're that cheesy for reals - Hahaha, I'm just kidding, I'm just gonna try to help them define their relationship, and take steps in the right direction - and frankly, all of it is just gonna be fun talks, because she's literally amazing. I just am truly looking forward to talking with her, getting to know her perspective, and maybe trying to explain to her, that it's okay to be vulnerable, just as it's okay to be tenacious! And that it's definitely alright to not always have the pressure of living vicariously, and just have a couple days off for yourself, and you-time.
*Cue camera switching to Antoni*
First of all, I'm super into this week already, and having gotten to know that she's partial to cooking in general, has me utterly happy! Gives me enough of an excuse to spend more time with our wonderful hero, haha! Basically, my itinerary for the week is gonna be to cook some delicious, chicken-y, and easy stuff - things that you can whip up, in a half-hour-break from, I dunno, anaesthesiology? - and also a little bit of tips on desserts and drinks, that I'm sure she's gonna be into! So, a little bit of fancy, and a little bit of home! Sound good?
*Cue camera switching to Jonathan*
My turn? What, already? Okay, okay, okay - nevermind, I'm with you. *Inhales* first and frigging foremost, I love her already, like oh my god, yes, girl! You go! She's already serving me a really pretty aesthetic, and honestly, I do think her hair, her grooming, her everything is, you know, doing it for her! But I'm certainly looking forward to a bit of experimenting! Not everyday, that you get to try stuff on such a gorgeous woman! Plus, I'm totally into the idea of maybe, you know, some streaks - maybe something bizarre, because A, she can totally pull it off; B, it would really represent her more, and C, SHE COULD TOTALLY PULL IT OFF! Ahh! This is gonna be a good week.

So, we got to know our hero, for the week - and it's this completely terrific young woman in her early twenties; a smart, ambitious lady, who knows herself, and knows what she wants, and who's bold and strong and awesome all the way! Hence, basically what I want to do, with the space I'm gonna get - is try to get it to reflect all of those parts of her personality! It's a new apartment, and it's a college student area, so it's not gonna be too fancy - but that is alright, because it is going to be her! I'm not gonna be sure until I've gone and properly looked at that place; but I'm thinking, sturdy bookcases, something really comfortable to crash on at the end of a tiring day of medical genius, lots of plug points for all the laptops and everything, a really efficient kitchen, some really cool displays for the place to seem bright, and - uh - a grand wardrobe, for my friend Tannie? Hahaha!

Alriiighty, so it's gonna be a helluva amazing week! The rest of the guys are just as hyped about it as I am, and with good reason, because Manvi Mukherjee sounds *Cue falsetto* AWESOME! Y'all know, how I'm all for fashion being a medium to express yourself, and a means to show the world the real you? Well, it just gets infinitely more interesting, when you take someone as multifaceted as her! There's college student casuals, there's the medical practitioner vibe-y thingy, there's tribe's-night-out cool stuff, there's dating and relationships, and there's good old snuggle-at-home-with-a-bucket-of-KFC-in-comfortables, and there's graphic tees and hoodies for all the fandoms, and there's Daddy's-little-girl cutesy aesthetics, and there's just so much there, and so much amazingness and I, honestly, am looking forward to the work! As am I into checking out her personal style, because I hecking am! *sighs* You have no idea how happy it made me to meet another who loves shoes. You heard it here first, this is going to be great.

Lots of love, my wonderful sister, who deserves the entire world, and shall get it for herself. I am so proud of you, and every part of everything you are. What you do, and how you do it - has always, always inspired me. Thank you for being you, because that's how I became me.
