Elsus felt the stress radiating off his body but what else was he supposed to do? Stranger or not, anyone in trouble needed to get attention immediately. Of course the brother of his brother’s partner would be one to get him in such a state. In some ways, it reminded him of his younger brother, due to the recklessness behavior that he kept showing off.

“Listen, the hospital is only a few miles away. If you just get in the car, I can get you there but I can’t forcibly take you. Please, just listen to me!”

National Kissing Day?

The kiss is part apology, part gratitude. Whatever they'd been fighting about (and it had been two weeks since the incident she could barely even remember now) it's apparently finished with an embrace. She wraps her arms so tightly around him that her own chest feels compressed against his. She doesn't care, the ache is worth it.And just like fighting, they're always great at kissing. Sinking against him, Belle kisses him until she's breathless and then continues between quiet gasps of air. "I missed you," she says, even though she doesn't mean to utter it out loud.

"Raaaaaalph." She wasn't worried about him catching her, even as she dropped backwards onto his lap. Big hands circled her waist to steady her but didn't press - the ticklish conversation had been had already, complete with a sprained ankle and a black eye. She giggled, voice tinted with vodka-induced giddiness. "You're the best. Love you."Tilting his face down with a comparatively small hand on his cheek, she closed the distance with a gentle, sweet peck. Patting his jaw, she dropped her head to his shoulder and promptly passed out.

National Kissing Day?

It’s not really that rare that she wakes up before him in the morning, even if she’s not usually the first out and about. But Belle makes it her duty on this, her favorite of days, to get her nerd’s lazy butt out of bed. Climbing under the blankets with him quickly and retrapping the heat beneath the covers, she snuggles right up to Donnie until they’re nose-to-nose in the darkness, her arms snaked around his thin neck. By now he’s definitely awake, but humoring her by staying still, probably laughing at her in his head. Even when she presses a firm kiss right on his mouth. Nada. Nothing.With a pout, she huffs loudly at him. “You’re no fun.”

Raphael sat on the edge of Donnie's bed, prodding at the little bundle of blankets that was his tiny, crying girlfriend. "Babe? Hey, babe? Y'okay?" he asked, reaching for the edge of the blankets and pulling it back to get a look at her face. There was anxiety on his face, plain and simple. He wasn't good at comforting people, but he owed it to Belle to at least try. "You uh, wanna talk about it?" He gradually laid beside her, carefully sliding his hand down her back and waiting for a response.

Ugh. Crying sucked, it made her head stuffy and her whole body feel like it was too heavy. Worse, she'd started before she could convince Raph to leave her alone so that he wouldn't have to see it.

"No." She shook her head and dragged a pillow over her head, taking shaky breaths to try and stop the wave of helplessness. There wasn't much to talk about, she'd just been stressed and pretending that she wasn't and...this was the result. "I'm fine. Honestly."
