I know I've been MIA but that's because 2018 and 2019 have decided to teamed up on me and besides losing people, money and time I messed around and caught the flu and was down or like 2.5 weeks. This happens so often in all kinds of relationships. Sometimes its that the person didnt try to get to know your roots but other times its because you hid them. Either way everything and everyone had seasons. Good, Bad ugly beautiful. That's all apart of the growth process. As we progress we will have some beautiful flowers blossoms and our successes will bloom for the world to see and other times we will seem to be withering and dying But its those special times when we are being still, looking like all is ending that we We are actually building our foundations and even though all of our flaws show and the process isn't always pretty. I remember when I started opening up to tell some of my story. The weight that lifted off my shoulders, the ability to embrace others who not only understood what I was saying but who was able to use my experience as strength, empowerment and motivation it allowed me to become progressive. To embrace my greatness and my flaws. To forgive myself for my mistakes and exchange the crutches for a cane. It all starts with self forgiveness. To be honest, there are still some things I haven't forgiven myself for. Some stories that (for now) will stay locked up inside, but as I grow, use my mentors, friends teams and everyone i encounter as guides. Forgiveness comes easier. Lifes a marathon, not a sprint.
