Patterns 15 :: Shepherd's Check
// A vector version of the traditional Shepherd's check pattern. Also called Border tartan, after the plaid (the clothing, not pattern. More on this when I post a tartan pattern) worn by Scottish shepherds in the hills of the Scottish borders.
Though similar in appearance to gingham, this pattern is distinguished by diagonal twill weave of the fabric. This gives it the 'banding diagonal line' look.
