"Oscar Wilde's deathbed tears for his only love: Playwright's last moments reveal relationship with his beloved 'Bosie' DIDN'T end after his prison stint
...
It has been suggested that Wilde and Bosie lived together for a brief time in Naples, Italy, after his release from Reading Gaol in 1897, but their relationship broke down.
However, an account of Wilde's final days has found that the flame between the two burned bright until he passed away in Paris in 1900, reports the Times.

A letter discovered in 2017 reveals valuable information confirming (again) that the relationship between oscar and lord alfred remained romantic and intense until the end of wilde's days, contrary to what those who read sherard think (or insert name of the liar of your choice) and they stayed with the idea that after the meeting in the villa Posilipo in Naples Italy, Bosie abandoned him, that is a terrible mistake and this letter among an endless number of books and tests confirms it.
This letter is from Robbie Ross to more adey and it is sent 15 days after Oscar's death,
He says that suddenly he (Wilde) broke into a violent sobbing and said he would never see him (Alfred) again because he felt that everything was at an end — this very painful incident lasted about three quarters of an hour.
referring to the moment in which Oscar sees the last letter and the last check that Bosie had sent him at that time and is sad to know that he does not have much time left.
Experts have previously interpreted this as Wilde declaring his affection for Ross, but an unpublished version of the letter, found in the Clark library at the University of California, has revealed the most probable truth.
And you know, again the brilliant and wonderful Laura Lee, Wilde Scholar, shed light on this sad story.
