AHHHHH IM STILL NOT OVER HOW AWESOME YESTERDAY WAS So a bunch of Chinese fans opened a Sherlock-themed cafe here in Shanghai (Ruijin Er Road, for the locals interested), and IT'S FRIGGIN' AMAZING! The door is almost exactly the same as the one in the BBC series (the cafe is focused of this version of Holmes, although there are some tributes paid to other great Sherlocks on the walls). The inside is decorated exactly like Sherlock and John's flat in Baker Street (see that smiley on the wall?!), and tons of props and Conan Doyle books are filling the gigantic cupboards and bookshelves. There's even a chimney with a decorated mantelpiece like I the series, skull and everything! So we sat on Sherlock's couch for about and hour, we drank some pretty awesome - and surprisingly okay - beverages, such as missfrenchygirl's 'Sherlock Coffee that you can see up there, or my brother's weird drink, which was served in a flask like John and Sherlock's during Watson's stag night in The Sign Of Three (pretty cool, huh?). We also recommend their chocolate cake, because yummmm. Then, there were three shelves of fandom merch, including umbrellas, postcards, stickers, mugs and notebooks. I bought a protective skin for my iPhone, and a few things for my mum and cousin. However, thomaster-has-arrived, being the perfect human being he is, gave me THE ULTIMATELY COOL TABLECLOTH YOU CAN ALL CONTEMPLATE UP THERE for my flat in London next year. Perfect people are perfect. Anyways, we'll go back to 221B before nolifepeole and I leave Shanghai, because that's definitely a must-see for all of you detective nerds.
