I have read on social media that a few people (maybe more than a few) are disappointed that it appears that BC and Martin will not be at sherlockedcon. I am coming from the US. I have been planning since January for this. I would not miss it for the world! This show has been such a positive force in my life these past 4 years. I look forward to seeing all of the cast, crew & creatives who are there, the baker street babes, and cumberbatchweb. All of it!
And I get to spend time my fabulous cumberfamily. Lots of my great memories over past 4 years have been made in this fandom. I am looking at a picture from opening night of previews with two of them, my picture from ACD’s school, Stonyhurst, with @welovethebeekeeper, pictures from BFI afterparty, it goes on & on.
I remember how I just pouted inconsolably for 24 hours when I missed out on getting an autograph at Cheltenham in 2012. I lost 24 hours of great festival food and books and ice cream in my pouting....I don’t want to do that anymore.
This is absolutely brilliant!! On a roller-coaster of emotions though- GIDDY that I am actually going, but disheartened because I am BROKE (those ticket prices are insane!!), lol! Oh well, I am still fortunate to be going, and so I’ll be thinking more on the positive aspects! Beyond excited to go!!! YAY! :D
