Could I ask what were among some of the things that you didn't like in the Sherlock finale?
well there were some good scenes but the main thing i didn't like was the absolutely clear indication that sherlock and john were now separate and all based around the account of mary.
i mean one of the first scenes is john just itching to get out of the house, being aggressive and SHERLOCK IS FUCKING IN A DRUG HOUSE SHOOTING UP BECAUSE HE CAN'T DEAL WITH BEING AWAY FROM JOHN FOR LESS THAN A MONTH. so okAY THIS CAN BE FIXED, but nope no that doesn't actually happen.
and don't even get me started on how freaking uncomfortable and out of character that scene with janine was, i mean, i know it was for a case, but since when does sherlock do that? sherlock around women, even when pretending, is absolutely terrible. this was a big character change,,
sherlock and john's life and any relationship/friendship they had had before had grown incredibly distant and it just isn't the same as before john was married, and there was a chance that maybe that would chance with mary's character being called out as someone with a verrrryyyyyyyyyy dodgy past (one which wasn't actually fully clarified in the episode, like many other things) that the show could have returned that special relationship, however with issues of a baby, the situation became to sticky.. john is a good man, and shows that even after he apparently "doesn't read the usb" he sticks with mary, which would have been against his character in relation to her character?????????? yes he sticks with sherlock through his lies but sherlocks whole character and persona is 3000% different to mary's
i mean the evidence for mary trying to not kill sherlock only wound him didn't reaaallly add up and she still appears to be a very suspicious character in regards to the fact that one, john still apparently knows nothing about her real past having not read the usb, and two, sherlock, not having read the usb either put his life on the line to save mary TWICE, as his emotions of love and loss in regards to john have clouded his judgement
this is just all speculation and shouldn't be taken to heart, because the first two episodes were FUCKING AMAZING, but this one was just built up so much that we all over-excited ourselves and over-speculated that the outcome was a little messy and disappointing
and i still am not sure about moriarty but hey he was such a good villain and the acting was A++++++ in this episode like damn.
never in my entire life have i been more uncomfortable than when sherlock and janine were 'together' i am literally itchy at the thought
