Identity: Elisabeth Grayson, companion.
Summary: After her widowed mother's death, Elisabeth found herself in need of employment to support herself. Well-educated, well-bred, and intelligent, it was fairly simple to find a position as companion to Mrs Southway, an elderly woman fond of travel-- and as it turns out, a woman with a knack for the solving of crimes!
As she continues to travel with her new employer, Elisabeth can't help but notice that everywhere they go, no matter how small the town, there's always a crime to be solved; and when they come across a murder with apparently no motive, Elisabeth begins to be very afraid....
Conflict: In episode 5, Elisabeth begins to wonder if the crimes they come across are entirely coincidental. But they have to be-- don't they? Her employer can't be a criminal... and a murderess.
SPECIAL: The actress who plays Elisabeth has no idea if Mrs Southway is guilty or not.
SPECIAL: The writers have a team of research assistants to make sure their portrayal of the United Kingdom in the early 1900s is fairly accurate.
SPECIAL: Some fans insist that there is proof on the official site that Elisabeth is the real criminal!
Your fandom: has no idea if Mrs Southway is innocent or not, and it's freaking them out.
