11:11, cry baby and lace
11:11 : name three wishes and why you would wish for them
i wish that i try my absolute hardest in school this year bc i’m starting to realize that my future is important and while it may be fun to sit around and watch movies and get stoned.. i shouldn’t just yet. bc i didn’t get into the college i really wanted to get into so i’m going to work super hard in community college to transfer. that’s my plan essentially
i consider my grandfather one of the most inspiring people in the world and he has contributed so much with his life that it’s really sad to see him fading away. he’s starting to forget everyone in his life... he forgot my dad, me, my mom, and his other son. i wish that he doesn’t forget my grandmother.
i would wish for the idea that it’s acceptable to like yourself and not be considered overly self centered. i just remember riding in a car with a few of my friends and like one of them was like “wow i actually look good” and then the other was like, “yeah you do, but you shouldn’t say it like that” and it kind of bothered me. i think it’s really sad that appearance has such a big role on accepting ourselves and i just wish we could accept certain parts of ourself without being considered “self-obsessed”
cry baby : list the concerts you have been to and how they make you feel
i went to see an artist my dad introduced me to named “missy higgins” and this was my very first concert. i remember reading about it in the st. pete times (newspaper) in like the small entertainment section and i literally cut it out and set it on my dad’s desk and it was so heartbreaking when he said no. i was super young at the time and i didn’t understand why we couldn’t just go so i literally ignored my dad for days. one day he broke down and took me and now i really understand why he didn’t want to take me. it was at a lesbian bar and i had no idea, but she was so talented. i had such an amazing time.
i remember when i was younger and this artist named “taylor swift” came out in 2006 and i wasn’t a total fan of her country music, but i really loved how i could identify with her and i don’t know from there i developed a sort of respect for her. so i have seen her at a grand total of six times and every single one has been such an awesome experience.
i went to go see the neighbourhood like a year or so ago and there were so many people there and it was pretty claustrophobic, but it was awesome just seeing real people play.
i also saw lana del rey and the experience wasn’t great. it was so crowded and loud that it was really hard to hear lana.
over last summer, i went to go see the rolling stones with my dad and to this day i believe it will be the best concert i’ve ever gone to.
i recently went to go see a tribute to bowie where it was an orchestra playing every thing and it was magical
most recently i went to go see the tedeschi trucks band and it was absolutely mind blowing.
lace : when was your last 3 am conversation with someone and who were they to you?
i haven’t actually ever had like a 3 am conversation with anyone and i don’t think i will. i stay up at really late hours to strictly write and i don’t really let anyone take up that time i guess.
send me aesthetics
