This is not like, a request by the way. I'm not gonna pursue drawing/writing it and I'm not gonna ask you, BUT. I had a Rocket And Coil idea, and although I don't actually ship rocoil I KNOW YOU DO!!! So I'm sending it your way.

AU where Coil got picked up and raised fully by Zuka and Rocket got raised by Wolf, but it like. TOTALLY messed up their personalities???

Because Zuka (also an explosive gear, totally understanding) was the one who nurtured Rocket's chaoticness while also helping him with anger management and impulse control, right. Wolf would NOT really be understanding of his issues, and he'd kind of end up fawning to her and being as much of a pushover as possible for his own safety, meanwhile his violent tendencies continue to build up in secrecy (<- just entirely making shit up here??????)

And COIL would end up. Probably a lot more mentally healthy? But he still has that CONNECTION to Playground, because!! Okay.

Rocket is with Wolf, but he still has that. DEEP-SEEDED HATRED for Playground and everyone in it, even though he lives there. He feels DISCONNECTED.

But COILLL never had those awful terrible experiences, so even though he's living in Crossroads and his dad is the FORMER FACTION AMBASSADOR, he still feels the need to provide and care for those in Craterdust, and he still ends up becoming the crystal criminal to further his goal, BUT he's gotta hide it from Zuka, yk???????

I think not only would Sword struggle to form a connection with Coil, Zuka would too, and he'd feel this sort of. Guilt. Like, Zuka was willing to take him in and he STILL wants to go back to Playground? Damn....
