5. Mandy Milkovich

I really loved the character of Mandy especially in the early seasons. She was so hugely flawed even from the start, I mean she was so pissed off that Ian rejected her she sent her brothers after him. However I just loved her whole look and once you scratch the service with her she is really sweet. Her and Ian's friendship is one of my favourites even though I do think she carried a torch for him even though she knew he was gay.

I loved her teaching Debbie self defence and applying to colleges for Lip, I do think she loved him in her own fucked up way. Really wish she had a better send off.

4. Carl Gallagher

It took me a while to love Carl. I think he really started to grow on me around season 6/7 and just never stopped. I really loved his whole arch of turning his life around and going to military school and I think he is really trying to be a good person. I also love his interactions with Ian and they are amongst my favourite on the show. I actually also really liked Kelly and thought they where an adorable couple.

3. Shiela Jackson

Aww I know out of all the characters on the show but I really really loved Shiela. I miss her a lot and I wish she would have popped back up over the years. She really was a sweetheart and I think she was taken advantage of alot over the years and not just by Frank. I reakkt enjoyed her screentime and that's saying alot because there was alot of Frank 😂.

2. Ian Gallagher

Aww my favourite ginger, I think from the start Ian is just the most instantly likeable person on the show. He was such an adorably earnest puppy dog in season one. I was invested in him as a character as soon as I started the show and was really routing for him. He's my husbands favourite character as well and we never ever agree 😂. In some of the later seasons he really did test my love for him because he was acting like a jackass and badmouthing my boy but watching him go into a downward spiral is never nothing but heartbreaking.

And I still love him despite gay jesus 😳

1. Mickey Milkovich

Ahh the minute this flithy tiny little angry man appeared on my screen it was love at first sight. I found the character instantly charasmstic and wanted to see more of him. He's just not what you are expecting as Ian's love interest but he couldn't be more perfect. It was something different and it made me instantly invested in them as a couple.

But I love Mickey outside of Gallavich also, when Ian was gone in Season 4 I really enjoyed his storyline on his own. But I know that i would never have been satisfied with the two of them ending up with anyone else.

Mickeys coming out episode is my favourite on the whole show. He really is an icon.
