It's....sort of exploded to include Loren & Andie now. I wouldn't be surprised if it exploded again.

When she helps to arrest Gamora and Peter Quill on Xandar, she makes an impulsive decision for revenge and winds up helping Gamora, Quill, and a rag tag group of misfits escape the Kyln. Now she has to survive Ravagers, Quill's terrible jokes, and her own confusing feelings for Star Lord himself to finally get back at Ronan and the Kree for taking everything from her.
Learn to Fly by @themaradwrites - Sam Wilson x OC Andie Knight remembers the fall of SHIELD. Vividly. The day Captain America crashed through a glass ceiling front of her changed her life. Thanks to a call from Sam Wilson, the man who threw her from the 41st floor of the Triskelion to save her life, she’s part of the Avengers. Or at least their support team. And she’ll never let anyone dictate how or when she uses her skills again. Now all she has to deal with is Tony Stark’s ego, murder bots, near extinction, and the Sokovia Accords. No big deal, right?
Originally the concept for the @mara-vel-cece-matic-universe was that @cecexwrites and I would have 2 characters - Cass & Nadia. Cass & Nadia met and became instant besties (because that's just who Cass is - snap decisions all around) when Cass missed filing some paperwork. Nadia did her a favour and Cass decided they were besties from that moment.
You'll see in Nadia's fic that she's got a record collection she keeps with her. That was Cass's before she had to leave Earth with her mom. Nadia keeps it safe.
For three years, Cass only had her mom. She'd lost her bestie when she left Earth, lost her dad, lost everything. Then she lost her mom too. She was at the bottom with nowhere to go but up. So she pulled out her shovel and dug deeper by helping known criminals escape the Kyln.
Then we...kind of expanded from there. Loren came first, though she didn't have a name. Then Andie came along. And now we have our little OC family.
Unlike Cass, Andie never really had much in the way of friends. Her adoptive parents raised her to keep one eye open at all times and be...pretty untrusting. When she joins SHIELD, she learns to trust Nick Fury.
Then she meets Sam. And spends an entire year picking fights with him because he jumped out of the Triskelion with her and she's afraid of heights.
Nat becomes her friend and is a big Sam/Andie shipper.

Who does Andi trust the most? Who would they turn to for help or advice? Have they ever had their trust broken?
What is something that Cass actively tries to forget about themselves or the people/things around them? What do they wish that they hadn’t learned?

Before the start of Learn to Fly, Andie trusts Nick Fury. And when it comes down to trusting SHIELD or Captain America during the fall of SHIELD and the battle at the Triskelion, she puts her trust in Cap, even though she's never met him.
And her foster parents, but they died in 2005.
After Learn to Fly, she also trusts Sam and Nat. Way later in the fic, she adds to that list even further and builds a support system.
Who she'd turn to for advice would depend on what kind of advice. Though after she and Sam get together and after everything they go through, he's her go-to for almost everything.
Andie's never had her trust truly broken as she was raised to keep one eye open at all times. Spoilers! More of this is going to come out later.
Cass doesn't want to forget things, even the bad. Because they've shaped who she is in some way. Even the bad in her friends and family, she'd keep.
The only thing she wishes she hadn't learned is a big spoiler for Vol 2 and Infinity War, so I'll just leave it at that.
