Lune and Discordia
The Goddess appears like smoke in the shadows within the doorway. She leans against it with her arms folded across her chest. She had heard that Artemis had birthed her child - the child of a fellow god. Artemis asked for Eris to help guide the child throughout his life. It was time she upheld her promise...
"Good evening, new mother." She says slowly, but softly, not wanting to frighten her or the baby. Although she was certain that Artemis has seen enough magic throughout the past few months that not much could frighten her anymore.
Eris smiles slowly at her, her blue eyes sparkling in the darkness.
"I'm...ok...." Arti shuffled her feet, nervously clicking the stud in her tongue along her teeth, a habit she didn't know she had. "Does Sherlock ever mention me? I think he hates me...." She hadn't meant to be so blunt, and she looked away.
" Sorry Arti I don't think Sherlock has ever mentioned you. But, I don't think he hates you. I mean..err... Sherlock Holmes is just a...uh...a very busy man." replied John as he tried to cheer her up a bit.
"You're Sherlock's flatmate, yeah?" Artemis asked, hoping her electric green tongue ring wouldn't startle the poor doctor. "I'm Arti, I live nextdoor. 221-A."
John noticed the green tongue but thought of it as just an abnormality. He knew people with abnormalities wouldn't like other paying attention to their defections so he tried to ignore it as much as possible. " Oh, hi there Arti." he smiled as his eyes dashed up to face the girl. " So you're the new neighbor. It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is John; John Watson."
