She hadn't had a real conversation with him since she had told him she was a mutant, and it was hard. She had feelings for the man, but since she was certain he didn't trust her anymore never acted on them. However she needed to know. "Pietro? Uh... what are we? You and me?"

Jade couldn’t help but stare. Yes, he was her assignment, but he was stunning. It must have been a mistake though, so she didn’t keep the picture.
Once she was done blushing and trying to figure out what to do she sent him a couple texts in response.

"Well what if they don't like us?" the younger sibling hissed to her brother as they approached the common room, her fingers fidgeting in front of her. Her scales were rippling, showing her nerves. "Jesus Jade it's the Avengers, not a high school cafeteria, chill!" he said back, glancing over. His eyes, enhanced to the point he could see molecules if he focused, darted around rapidly, taking in the unique details in everything. "Exactly! These people have saved the world, they are gods compared to us! Fucking gods!" He rolled his eyes at her, and didn't say anything else until they reached the room. He gave a little wave. "Hey."
