How I shifted for the first time⋅˚₊‧ ୨୧ ‧₊⋅ :˚⊹♡

• To give some context, I first discovered Shifting in 2022 through a TikTok video that explained what it was. I clearly remember the video saying, "Everyone is capable of shifting and shifting is easy." At that time, I was a huge fan of Attack on Titan (and I still am, by the way), so I decided to try to shift to Attack on Titan, thinking that, if everyone could shift, then I could do it too.
Beforehand, I did some research to learn how to shift and found several methods, that's when I found the Raven Method. I decided to use this method but I slightly modified it since I wanted to stay awake while shifting. I lay down on my bed and started counting. Every ten numbers, I would repeat to myself, "I’m shifting."
When I reached 100, I began to see white flashing lights, and I couldn’t feel my body at all. Then, I felt my body "changing" positions without actually moving, and my surroundings were completely transforming. Suddenly, my eyes opened, and there I was, in my desired reality.
I could feel the warmth of the sun streaming through the window onto my skin, hear the sound of birds, and see everything: the realistic texture of the wood; the white mattress of my bed; the buildings/houses outside the window.
Everything was as vivid and real as in this reality (even though it was in an anime). It all happened so fast, but I wasn’t scared. It felt like I had shifted there before, as if it was something natural.
Once I was fully awake, Sasha came in, slightly panicked, telling me to hurry because it was time for breakfast. Despite it being my first shifting experience, I decided to stay there for nine months, and it was amazing.
Through this storytime, I want to remind you not to give up on shifting. Beyond being a beautiful experience—whether through the people you meet, the places you see, or the moments you live—it is absolutely real. I promise you, it’s far too real to be just a dream. Shifting is real.
