shigegou, shigesatogou, shigetoki names .

names i’ve seen for shigegou : projectshipping, mewshipping, regishipping. i think regishipping is perfect !! i associate projectshipping and mewshipping with shigetokigou in my head, but regishipping is way more shigegou.

name i recommend for shigegou : 113shipping. ltrly just the episode they caught the regis. the number 113 is associated with change and new beginnings, and this was the beginning of a different side of shigegou, one where they don’t fight as rivals, but as friends. this was a new chapter in their relationship, and an important part of it, but i still prefer regishipping. idk.

names i’ve seen for shigesatogou : nothing!! literally nothing! everybody always calls it shigesatogou. cuz that’s what it is. i don’t think i’ve ever seen somebody refer to this ship as something other than shigesatogou, tbh.

name i recommend for shigesatogou : catchemshipping. it’s bad. we should just stick to shigesatogou. but hear me out, hear me out! ash’s last name is ketchum and his original goal was to catch ‘em all, which is goh’s current goal. and gary, especially in the original series, proved himself to be way better and quicker at catching pokémon than ash.

names i’ve seen for shigetoki : again, nothing. i’ve only seen like 2 ppl talk abt this ship actually. and it’s just referred to as shigetoki, or no pairing name at all. but there are even less popular ships w ship names, and this pairing deserves at least a bit more popularity.

names i . . yk the drill : trialshipping, rivalguideshipping. trialshipping is really only bcz of the idea of the project mew trial missions, tbh. they only interacted in one on-screen mission, but i feel like they saw each other at even more, establishing some rivalry. rivalguideshipping is more because of goh, and how both gary and tokio were his rivals in very different ways. gary was his classic annoyingly-smart rival, and tokio always tried to stay friendly. they both guided him on the same paths, in such different ways.
