Hello! I'm writing for a very small handful of new fandoms now. I didn't open my box and everything that I've posted for a separate fandom has been a commission save for the last imagine. I actually asked my girlfriend to come up with something and send it in to me so I had something Christmas-themed to post on Christmas day. I always make an announcement beforehand so don't worry. I'll make sure everyone knows about any box opening I might have before the date.

Hello! Well I think the first and most important thing is finding proof that the author has written content containing those topics. I don't believe much of anything without tangible evidence. The internet is a playground for misrepresentation and mistruths, as we all know, so I like to be sure of what's real and what isn't before I start tossing my opinion around. However, to answer your question in how I would generally feel, no, I don't think it's wrong. That would be like saying Stephen King shouldn't be paid for his work because it contains disturbing and triggering content. I have a hard time with these arguments because we're speaking about something that's just fantasy (in terms of the writing itself). If this author were to condone pedophilia and incest, then that's an entirely separate conversation. If they're making money off of their own content and it just so happens to be a taboo subject, I don't really think there's much harm in that. People will make the case that this content just fuels those who read it with these desires but that's not true. If you're of sane body and mind, and you're healthy, you're not going to read a story about pedophilia and run out to have sexual relations with a child—you're not going to read a story about incest and race to your nearest sibling to try it out. I think writers get blamed for so many things out of their control. It's much like media in general. I get so frustrated when people claim that this violent video game made my son go shoot up his school. No. Your son had mental problems that you either missed, ignored, or didn't realize until after the fact. There's a million possibilities as to why your son did what he did, but the game he was playing didn't facilitate that massacre. If it was the catalyst, then your son was not healthy and had an underlying issue. A lot of that goes for writing too. I think that those who complain about these topics just don't have as broad of an imagination as others. There's nothing wrong with that but judging others because they can separate fantasy from reality is wrong. I don't condone pedophilia or incest in any way but I can read a story solely based on each topic and see the difference, in other words, I can enjoy it if it's written well. To speak outside those categories and just answer your question in regards to dark and disturbing...I wouldn't have half the collection I have of books, manga, movies etc. if they didn't exist. I'm all for supporting those who make dark content. But hey, that's just me! This is just my opinion. You're entitled to your own but if you disagree with me please keep it to yourself. I'm not about to start an argument over my beliefs and yours. I mean this for anyone who reads this post, not you directly, anon. You guys know I support open discussion but there's always that one person who has to start drama. Anyhow, I hope that I've answered your question!
