another sunrise, another day for work -- though ranpo isn’t exactly looking forward to it considering the weather. just looking at the weather forecast. ice warning, really? this place can be awful just as much as it is interesting. really, what can ranpo do outside of sigh and make his way to the ( new ) agency with an umbrella in hand, though. he won’t let it bother him.
along the way, he finds himself dipping into the last song on his mind, stepping to the tone of the song, bouncing on his toes when he gets to the front door of the agency and shuffles in his pocket for the keys. “if you love yourself the way you are, everything would be “que será, será”~ i present this song for you who is alone at th -----” he stops. something out the corner of his eye catches him: a familiar face. is it really? only one way to find out!
“yo, dazai, is that you? i didn’t think you’d be coming here too! perfect timing -- i started an agency here, you know. wanna keep at your usual work?”

Dear Dazai Osamu,
Welcome to Hiraeth Academy. Due to your great accomplishments in your own world, we have taken the liberty of summoning you here to Hiraeth in hopes that you will aid us in shaping the minds of those less experienced with their special abilities. We ask that you please report to the Headmistress’s office after reading this letter, so that you can receive a full briefing of what is expected of you. We are certain that your prowess with Tactics and Strategies will benefit those attending our academy. You will become their instructor, a guiding hand that will lead them down what we hope will be the right path.
You will be housed in our specialized staff housing, in room A 106, located in a building separate from the school, tucked away on the western side of campus. After you have seen to visiting the Headmistress, you are welcome to visit there any time to replenish your energy and have a break from teaching. You will be asked to introduce yourself to the students at the next meal, so please come prepared.
