“I can fight!” The female had been determined to help out the male she was following and so would approach a slime with the intent of killing it. Of course she gathered energy in her hands and....it just bounced right off. Leaving the female to cry out in surprise when said slime jumped her. “Waaah! Help me!” In this world she had to start at level one just like everyone else.

Out of Time

Time travel… He would have never believed it if he hadn’t experienced it himself. To think there was a Great Spirit that governed Time itself… The world was an amazing place. Thankfully Khronos was not interested in messing around with such power. For how much he was not all that fond of humans unlike his close friend Origin, he didn’t use his power to create chaos throughout time. In that way… He was like any other spirit.

But when he was asked to go on an errand for Khronos, he almost refused-- that was until Khronos explained that he had no choice in the matter. After all, Khronos was helping Origin with the reincarnation cycle… He couldn’t leave the present time, but he was still capable of using his power. Yet was really set Jude on it was that he… was not asked to do it because Khronos was incapable as of now, but because he had to.

The spirit fossil of the Great Spirit of Ice that sank into the bottom of the ocean along with the Zenethra… Jude was asked to recover it by Khronos. The younger spirit always did wonder how such a fossil got into the hands of the black market and evaded the hands of the Rieze Maxian or Elympian authorities. Thankfully it ended up right his way, but it almost felt too convenient. Was Khronos trying to say that was all set up..?

Unfortunately the Time Spirit was not one for explanations, so other than the given task and a set guideline to follow, he was cast back in time without much else said.

Strangely enough, while he was standing at the doors of Canaan before? He was now at the foot of the Nia Khera Hollowmont… Did Khronos pick this destination for a reason? He needed to be out at Lakutam if he wanted to recover the fossil from the wreckage. Thinking about it now… He was going to have to dive for it… wasn’t he? Good thing he didn’t need to breathe, but who knows what the pressure was like down there…

Sighing, he left the area and made his way down the Spiritway.

Ivar’s body stiffened unpleasantly upon someone’s arms wrapping around him, though he refrained from pulling out his swords. He previously thought himself to be alone… how did someone sneak up on him so effectively? But all of his thoughts faded upon hearing a familiar voice.

“Miss Nyx! Please forgive me… you startled me!” Red eyes shone with enthusiasm, looking to her with eager loyalty. No wonder he hadn’t heard anyone… for someone as powerful as her, sneaking up on him would be a breeze. “Do you have someone you’d like eliminated? I’m glad that so many people have willingly joined the Red Sea lately, but I’ve been looking forward to a kill!”

How his enthusiasm brought a smirk on her face, his undying loyalty was quite remarkable and oh-so beneficial. It was honestly refreshing in contrast the usual hatred towards the demoness from humans and even from her own kind.

Not that she really cared in the end, that was and always would be a minor detail.

“As much bringing someone to their agony and despair will always be a fun activity to do, I’m merely curious about something else. So I was wondering; who is this Jude you’re often referring to?”

Face down on the floor, the raven groaned whilst her stomach rumbled. How long had it been since breakfast? Too long. “When do we get to eat? I’m starving. Unable to move starving. Are you planning on letting me starve or something? That’s not cool.”
