Their twin brother, Vanni! I don't know the specifics of how they find each other again, but I know Vanni would find a way. :)
Vanni will be a big part of how Velle settles into the world post-game. He won't care that Velle doesn't remember him completely, he's just overjoyed to have his twin back ;u;
Plus, his magical talent is illusions and he has a passion for story-telling. He will give an absolutely spectacular re-telling of their life and childhood (and if any parts are exaggerated, well, their mom and dad are still in their home country and can't contradict him, can they?).

#13. What hobbies or skills do they have? How long have they been pursuing them? Why?
Currently: Baking! Less tedious than cooking meals, and desserts are better than real food, anyway :P Mostly they stick to simple stuff. Sugar cookies, cinnamon coffee cake, etc. Things that'll pair well with their favorite teas~
Originally: Calligraphy. It's something their mom taught them growing up. Mama Morandi (gonna figure out her name later lol) runs a Magic Shop in Velle's home country, but instead of ingredients, she sells charms. So, she taught Velle how to weave spells into the paper and ink as they write. Enchantments to ward off fatigue or to attract luck. Pre-plague, Velle would leave these little notes in Asra's things before he left on a journey, for him to find later and to ensure his safe return. Sadly, it's not a habit they've picked up again after being revived. :c
#32. Does their use of/skill in magic differ from canon? How so?
Never, in any universe, has Velle had a talent for fire magic. So, unlike the Arcana MC, whose specialties are things like fire and healing and lockpicking, Velle has a more brute force approach to magic. That isn't to say they don't have great control, just that their greatest talent lies in overwhelming their enemies with deadly shards of ice or turning their bodies to snow.
They move to Vesuvia originally to study under their Aunt's guidance, because they wanted to learn to use magic constructively and distance themself from using magic as a weapon.
Asra (who is several years younger than they are) ends up with a sort of hero complex about them. Velle seems so powerful and invincible, this experienced soldier who can overcome any danger, and it's a comfort to have them around after Asra has spent so much of his life fearing the wicked Count and worrying for his dear firend, Muriel. This is why he has such seemingly-baseless confidence in Velle after they're resurrected. He's still got this larger-than-life version of them living in his head.
