A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 34
MY 8 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 34 (manga chaps 85 and 86):
1) Matsudaira deserved that for being a total old perv. Seriously I really should dislike him more cuz he’s actually pretty gross.
2) It’s really a blessing that Pachi-kun was able to survive this long in Tae-chan’s care considering violent tendencies.
3) Kagura being horrifyingly adorable.
4) Those two virgins in the back laughing at the poor virgins the spotlight.
5) There is no way I can do justice to the Internet cafe scene even if I were to capture every single frame; suffice it to say it was freaking hilarious and amazing considering the personalities involved and the personalities they were pretending to be.
6) Madao catfishing Shinpachi.
7) Poor Gin-chan. And no, I’m not going to include this trio in my ships tally. I value Gintoki’s life too much to do that to him.
8) This poor boy, how I wish it were so. For his sake, I hope he gets his wish before the series ends.
SHIPS TALLY:
Shinpachi x Eromes: poor Pachi-kun. He would’ve been such a sweet boyfriend.
Shinpachi x Otsuu: his faithfulness was sweet, too bad it lost to cat ears.
Gintoki x Sacchan: the poster on the right was not in the manga, and I still wonder how those images came about.
Kondou x Zura: they’re kinda pretty perfect for each other. I really should have shipped them more.
Shinpachi x Kagura: one needs to ask, why WAS she so worked about about Pachi-kun getting a girlfriend?
Otae x Shinpachi: her burakon was so obvious even Gintoki caught on to it.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just completely unbelievably amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s immense generosity that I am able enjoy Gintama on an extra another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
