This is not only for Day 1 of ShiningInktober but also a tribute to Yoshitaka Tamaki, who was recently announced to have passed away earlier this year.

RIP Yoshitaka Tamaki. Thank you for not only being a defining part of my childhood (and still-current interest tbh) but also a defining influence on the development of my own art style.

I was shocked and incredibly hurt to have learned the news... Shining Force has always been such a huge part of my life. I still replay LoGI and SFII. It's even influenced my other hobbies; I've made DND characters inspired by Shining Force and ran a DND one-shot based on the first two battles of LoGI. My friends have never played the games but they even look at the art and they can see where I get my style from.

I hope that Tamaki-sensei's family is healing and that he is at peace.

Shininginktober late Day 7: Kazin + Neptun, as that's the main spell I use with him through the game. Because of that, it kinda feels like the sorcerer promotion swapped him from fire to water mage. Though according to the manual Neptun does acid rain, so it's melting stuff all the same >:)
