Yeah they're fictional characters, but I'll never understand why antis so badly want the paladins to be child soldiers. Personally I headcanon all of them (barring pidge because she snuck in) to be at least 18 because the garrison is clearly military.
I don’t know...Child soldiers are an actual problem(kony is still fucking doing his shit) but...I remember seeing an anti that didn’t think it was a real problem in today’s world??? which...uh...it is still a problem.
Not to mention, (this is about to go into personal opinion territory) why they never talk about how the garrison could be seen as indoctrination, since they lovingly bring up rotc(srsly, training young teens for the military is fucked up imho)
...i’m sorry but i just thought of something completely off topic of antis...if the garrison was doing rotc type shit, to the point of fighter pilot training, what state is the earth currently in? is it very militarized? how much shit has gone down?
